Can anyone beat this score.... :)
I played lvl 14 probably 100 - 200 times and finally refined the order and timing of the cuts and got the score to 929 (my first score was in the 500's in think :) can anyone best this ? (must get all gems and kill the one enemy also)
P.S. fun addicing game btw even though this type of game is not usually my best cup of tea i still like it!

Good game but....
Once you get to the levels that have 20+ enemies that can fire from anywhere on map... it starts to get impossible, i tried bombs, i tried cannon fire, everyting i could think of and couldn't keep up with them shotting the lab from 100 miles away 4 at once, and my speed was i think 5 or 6 in speed and accel, so i was fast but still couldn't keep up... work on the balancing and this game would be 3x as good! :)
Ok.. just a few tips
Game was good overall, so were the graphics... just a few good recomendations would be (i'm sure others would agree) to get rid of the 'better luck next time chump' sound but by far you should get rid / or change the background to either alpha blend it or make it more simple because of all the stuff going on and the clips moving around it clutters the screen and makes it hard to tell where you are and whats going on, the screen is just too busy.. I didn't play too long, so i didn't see much else than those to tips... You have yourself a good base game though, with a little touch ups it can be much much better.
Removed the sound you were talking about and blended the asteroids with the background so it would be less confusing. We've been debating here whether the "you died" sound should encourage the player or deride them. Going with encourage now.

I don't have a great computer its pretty slow infact. and i have like 10 windows open (browser windows), and everythign registered fast enough for me so all these people reviewing or giving bad scores cause of misredistes or non registers have crap computers or just simply can't type... to get the #1 score so far.. 1:42, i messed aroudn in the beginning before i figured itout (first run) and i probably could have made over 2 minutes but anything more than that would be ungodly... :)
Start menu is broken...
Button shakes when you put the MouseOver, but clicking does not start the game, nor can i get any of the 3 menu butons to do anything, just shake :( bug? or problem with newgrounds?
One thing it would be nice to see changed...
when you kill an enemy and try to ride it across a pit, you fall when it moves you can't actually ride on top, you have to keep jumping.. it would be nice to ride on top without being thrown off :)
Learning curve it too steep...
Mechanics work good, but from the very st art the walls blocking you are too narrow to get through, you should start easy and get gradualy harder, its frustrating from the start so that turns off potential players immediately... i'm sure this would be a very simple change in the script.. which you should consider fixing and reupping asap :)
